EICR enhancements, validation, and billing upgrade

  • New EICR overall assessment now defaults to Automatic, with an explicit option to override.
  • New +5 year and +10 year shortcut buttons on the EICR next inspection date field.
  • New Required field validation on certificates and documents, with inline error messages shown on the form.
  • Improved EICR installation satisfactory field changed from a checkbox to a dropdown for clearer selection.
  • Improved Comment and text field character limits increased to 4,096.
  • Improved Client field is now optional when saving documents.
  • Improved Upgraded billing system for better Stripe compatibility.
  • Fixed Blank pages appearing on EICR PDFs when the inspection schedule spanned multiple pages.

  • New Textareas now auto-expand as you type, so you can always see the full content.
  • Fixed Line breaks entered on forms were lost on the PDF output.
  • Fixed Signatures appeared pre-filled instead of blank when not yet signed.
  • Fixed Combobox dropdown options were clipped and not fully visible.
  • Fixed Earthing arrangement TN-S showed X instead of N/A on PDFs.
  • Fixed Means of earthing rendered inconsistently with bonding conductors on PDFs.
  • Fixed Bonding fields defaulted to N/A instead of blank.
  • Fixed EICR bonding conductor labels were inconsistent with the EIC.
  • Fixed "Structured steel" label corrected to "Structural steel".

New PDF engine, grid improvements, and BS 7671 update

  • New PDF engine replaced with a browser-based renderer for higher quality, more accurate certificates.
  • New Separate PDF template for the multiple minor works certificate.
  • New Auto-fill max permitted Zs values on the circuit details table.
  • New Move Up / Move Down buttons on data grids for easier reordering on touch devices.
  • New Loading spinners on all action buttons to show when an operation is in progress.
  • Improved All BS 7671 references updated from A2:2022 to A3:2024.
  • Improved Guide pages updated with new screenshots and PDF previews for all certificate types.
  • Fixed PDF bonding fields always showed Yes regardless of the actual value.
  • Fixed Spacing gaps between EIC PDF signature blocks and Part 3 signatory sections.

Risk assessments, method statements, and unified search

  • New Risk assessments and method statements are now available under Documents. Each can be linked to a saved client and issued as a PDF.
  • New Method statements include a Safety Modules library - tick the modules relevant to your job and edit the pre-written content to match.
  • New How-to guides added for risk assessments and method statements.
  • Improved Search now works across certificates, documents, and clients from a single page.
  • Improved Documents linked to a client now appear on that client's details page.

More guides and circuit details improvements

  • New How-to guides added for the EIC (single contractor) and multiple minor works certificates.
  • Improved Circuit details table now uses dropdowns for reference method and other select fields, reducing typing errors.
  • Fixed Client address was not updating when changing the selected client on a risk assessment.

EICR guide

  • New Full step-by-step guide for the EICR, covering all eight parts, the inspection schedule, and the condition report.

Getting started guides, hazard table, and new favicon

  • New Getting started guides launched for the EIC and minor works certificates, with screenshots of every section.
  • New Hazard assessments now use an interactive table for adding and editing hazard rows.
  • New Automatic daily backups configured.
  • Improved New favicon and updated app icon.
  • Improved Subscription activation flow revised to be faster and clearer.
  • Fixed Intermittent logout behaviour that could result in an unexpected redirect.

Reliability improvements

  • Improved Significant internal test coverage added across certificates, login, client management, and PDF generation to catch regressions earlier.
